Mobility Grant FAAST

In order to improve accessibility to the FAAST symposium for PhD students, France Alzheimer is offering mobility grants to doctoral candidates wishing to attend or submit a paper.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The candidate must be a doctoral student in a laboratory located in France at the time of application.
  • The candidate must be under the age of 40 at the time of application.
  • The candidate must prioritize eco-friendly transportation whenever possible and travel in second class.
  • The mobility grant will be provided in the form of expense reimbursement, upon presentation of receipts and subject to the condition that the candidate has attended the FAAST symposium and in accordance with the reimbursement tiers presented below:

Reimbursement Tiers:

Reimbursement tiers will be based on the distance between the candidate's departure station and arrival station.

  • Distance less than 100km: No reimbursement possible
  • Distance between 100km and 150km: Maximum reimbursement of 60€ possible
  • Distance between 150km and 250km: Maximum reimbursement of 120€ possible
  • Distance greater than 250km: Maximum reimbursement of 180€ possible
